The Project
Pacy & Wheatley Dry Lining have begun an insulated external render project at Baltic 3 in Liverpool. The project is an 8-story steel-framed building comprising 64 apartments and 10 commercial units. Working with the manufacturers Aliva and Rockwool, we are providing mechanically fixed mineral wool insulation and a mesh-reinforced silicone render system.
The Challenge
As a Considerate Contractor, all plant and machinery used and site noise will be kept to a minimum, with careful planning and management in place to ensure that minimum disturbance is presented to the surrounding area. Special measures need to be implemented to ensure safe practices throughout the project, including hoarding off the area to create a safe working environment.
