The Project
Pacy & Wheatley tendered and secured the contract to undertake Drylining services on Phase 2 of this newly built residential scheme in Beverley. The scheme consists of over 200 newly built 3 & 4-bedroom luxury houses for both Barratt & David Wilson Homes.
The scheme is a mixture of traditional build block and brick for David Wilson Homes and then a load-bearing timber frame structure with an outer brick layer for Barratt Homes.
Our work will consist of fixing plasterboard directly to roof trusses and timber floor joists. We then install plasterboard to blockwork walls via an adhesive, followed by fixing plasterboard directly to timber stud walls. This is then finished by means of Tape & Joint, a three-coat system with a sanded finish left ready for decoration by others.
